Coliving Italy:
Authentic Digital Nomad Experiences in Southern Italy
Coliving Italy with Tursi Digital Nomads is remote work with a community built in. We run authentic coliving experiences in the south of Italy, where you live inside a real village, work from a coworking space in a former monastery and share the day with digital nomads from around the world. This is the best coliving southern Italy has to offer for remote workers who want more than a desk: private rooms, high-speed internet, organised activities and a genuine sense of belonging.
Why choose a Coliving in Italy
Italy is one of the most rewarding places in the world to live and work remotely, and coliving is the easiest way in. Instead of booking a lonely apartment or a noisy hostel, you join a ready-made community with everything set up for focused work and real connection. Our coliving in Italy is different from the big-city model: we’re in the authentic south, in basilicata, where costs are lower, the pace is slower and the culture runs deeper. You get the calm of village life with the infrastructure a remote worker actually needs.

This is hands down the best community I've ever been a part of! The experiences they create are on another level, every little detail is carefully thought out to make your stay unforgettable. They genuinely care about people’s needs and always go the extra mile to make things happen. Their passion is real, and you can feel the difference. Huge appreciation for them, not just as a business, but as truly wonderful humans!

My first ever digital nomad experience was in beautifull Matera with this amazing community! If you are a digital nomad and think of joining such a project, I highly recommend Salva and Maria, who will make you trust them from the very first moment!

Maria and Salva are wonderful organizers, hosts, and humans! Thrilled to have joined them in Matera, Italy, and been a part of their nomad coliving / coworking community. We're in the south of Italy, in Basilicata region, in and around Tursi, a village in the province of Matera. It's one of the most authentic and least touristy parts of the country, close to matera, the Pollino mountains and the Ionian coast.
Of course. We're all remote workers with full-time jobs on weekdays. Every home has plenty of space to use as a private office, and you can also join our shared coworking space. All working spaces offer stable, high-speed internet.
Your private or shared room, access to the coworking space, high-speed internet, utilities and community management. Flights, some meals and optional excursions are not included.
Yes. With a dedicated coworking space, high-speed internet and a ready-made community, our colivings remove the usual friction of remote work in a rural region. You get authentic Italy without giving up reliable infrastructure.
Weekdays are for work; weekends are for fun. We organise day trips and activities that help the group bond, from tours of local Italian villages to cooking workshops with a local nonna.
In order to reserve your spot for Remote, we ask for a 50% prepayment. The remaining 50% of the amount should be paid 2 weeks before your arrival.
It's for remote workers, freelancers and digital nomads who want real community over a party scene, and authentic Italy over tourist hubs. If you need big-city nightlife at your door, this isn't the right match, and that's by design.
Life happens. Cancellations made up to three weeks before the start date are refundable, minus a small €50 admin fee. Closer than that, the amount is non-refundable.
