Our Coliving in Matera is a curated experience where you live inside an authentic city, connect with local hosts, and share the day with an international group of nomads who chose Basilicata as their Italian base. Stays are designed as a journey of around three weeks, with everything organised so you can focus on your work and your life, not on logistics.

Fly into Bari (BRI) — the easiest airport, ~45 min from Matera

Of course. We're all remote workers with full-time jobs on weekdays. Every home has plenty of space to use as a private office, and you can also join our shared coworking space. All working spaces offer stable, high-speed internet.

Your premium private or standard private room, access to the coworking space, community activities during the week, and the support of your local hosts. Flights, meals and optional weekend excursions are not included.

High-speed wifi, a dedicated coworking matera area, an equipped kitchen, air conditioning and comfortable common spaces. Everything is set up for focused remote work and shared community life.

Weekdays are for work; weekends are for fun. We organise day trips and activities that help the group bond, from tours of local Italian villages to cooking workshops with a local nonna.

In order to reserve your spot for Remote, we ask for a 50% prepayment. The remaining 50% of the amount should be paid 2 weeks before your arrival.

The nearest airport is Bari, 62 kilometres away, served by Ryanair, EasyJet and Volotea. You can also land in Naples and take a bus or train. Companies including InterSaj, Sita Sud and Flixbus connect matera with major Italian cities.

Life happens. Cancellations made up to three weeks before the start date are refundable, minus a small €50 admin fee. Closer than that, the amount is non-refundable.

We're not a “party every night” group, but we love to share food, open a bottle of wine and end up around a table together. It's about balance: enjoying life without burning out. If you're looking for a purely private or solitary stay, this might not be the right match.
